There have been major advances in contact lenses over the past 12 years, meaning more people than ever can benefit from the freedom and convenience that wearing contact lenses bring.
For your fitting appointment, an up to date eye examination is required (within the past 12 months), then a clinical assessment by our optometrist will determine your suitability for contact lenses.
Following this you'll be advised of the most suitable options for you and your lifestyle. A trial of contact lenses will be arranged. You'll learn how to insert and remove contact lenses safely and carefully, along with a cleaning regime if required.
We offer many types of contact lenses which are now available for most prescriptions, including toric (for astigmatism) and multifocal lenses (for when a different distance and near prescription are required in one lens).
Daily disposable soft lenses are a convenient and healthy form of contact lens wear. These don't require any cleaning as a fresh pair are put in each time you wear the lenses.
Fortnightly (Acuvue) soft lenses are worn 2 pairs per month and require a simple cleaning procedure each time they are used.
Monthly soft lenses are where the same pair are used for a month (removing at night). These also require a simple cleaning procedure each time they are used.
We also fit a range of gas permeable contact lenses.
To make wearing contact lenses easier for you, we are able to provide monthly payment options by direct debit.
A payment plan can be arranged to cover an automatic supply of contact lenses, solutions (where required) and all your contact lens care appointments.
